'PETS OF THE MONTH'

NEW MAY Cat of the Month is ITTY BIT!
MAY Cats of the Month is MUNCHKIN & MITTENS got adopted!!!

Itty Bit is 5 years old and spayed, a beautiful cat wearing her Tri-Color Coat.  Cat Colors 101 tells us that a cat with Calico colors, but less white in her coat is actually called a Tri-Color - it's nice to learn something new every day :)  Itty Bit was terribly shy when she first came to the shelter, but she's much better now.  She walks around Connie's Cat House like she owns the place, rubbing on everybody she comes up to.  She even gets along well with other cats.  Itty Bit came to the shelter because her family had to move and couldn't take her with.  She is a very sweet girl, would love to meet you and go home with you today.  She probably won't need as much adjustment time moving into a new home (not like a shelter)!

NEW MAY Dog of the Month is VERONICA!
MAY Dog of the Month CRYSTAL got adopted!!!
She is a really pretty almost all white dog with just a few brindle spots, especially the patch over her right eye!  She is 2 years old and spayed.  Veronica is a smart dog, a Boxer mix, good on a leash and housebroken.  She gets really excited when she meets new people, but then calms right down.  Her person became unable to care for her and no family.  Vernoica loves people but would be best as an "only dog child" - but that's okay, most normal people only have 1 dog any way :)  Veronica is totally devoted to her person and she will make someone the perfect side-by-side companion and she's ready to go home with you today!

Check out our spay/neuter page and find out how you can get those "cool" license plates that say "I'm Pet Friendly" and at the same time help people all over the great State of Missouri get their BEST FRIEND spayed or neutered!
